I did buy bubble wrap for my snowboard (size 151) before using this bag. I would recommend this, because there really is no padding. I was able to put my boots, helmet, glasses, gloves, hat and pants in there as well snow. I'm sure I could have my coat size too, but since I was traveling from a cold place to another I wore.
